We feel like the absolute luckiest people to have found him to be our celebrant.
Even in the midst of a global pandemic, Bill was professional and able to put a smile on everyone’s face.
From the first draft and only after a brief first meeting, Bill managed to encapsulate us perfectly…
We could not recommend Bill highly enough as he is the one and only celebrant you would ever need and want.
We would almost like to divorce if only to remarry and have Bill be our celebrant once again! (You can leave this line out if you think it’s too much!)

The actual ceremony was incredible, Bill was fantastic and a true professional, knowing when to be serious and when to draw a laugh. Bill also encouraged us to do our own vows which we really appreciate as it was a lovely moment for us.
We had many comments from guests after the ceremony that it was one of the best they’ve attended and it was ‘very us’ which is a credit to Bill.

Bill Stubbs was our wedding celebrant at Sandringham Yacht Club on the 6th October 2019.
Right from the first time we engaged Bill to be our Celebrant, he has been most professional in every aspect of the wedding procedure.
From the very start Bill outlined our responsibilities and the procedure that is required in any wedding.
He tailored our wedding to just the way we wanted it.
If there were any questions by us, Bill came back with an immediate response.
On the day of the actual wedding, Bill with his usual sense of humour, made everyone including the future bride and groom feel at ease.
His preparation and ideas were faultless.
The actual speech he made before our vows, had the humour that made it so special and made everyone have a good laugh.
Some of our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to, and Bill certainly can be attributed to making this happen.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Bill as a wedding celebrant.

Planning a wedding can be stressful; there are so many choices that need to be made. As if choosing the right partner isn’t hard enough, once engaged there are so many other decisions that follow in quick succession; the date, the venue, the flowers, the dress. Somewhere along the way a celebrant must be selected, an important role that can make or break a ceremony. James and I were so happy when Bill was available to marry the two of us in December, 2018.
At first impression it was clear that Bill has the charisma and appeal of an excellent public speaker, a great booming voice, a cheeky smile and quite the snappy dresser. What we found most engaging was Bill’s kindness and consideration when it came to the details in the ceremony that would be important to us. We had a number of children that we wanted to include in the day, which could have been difficult, but Bill suggested ways in which they could be introduced and celebrated in comfortable and gentle manner.
While James and I understood the significance of the important moments in the ceremony, we wanted our family and friends to enjoy a more relaxed afternoon in the garden. The sun was shining, the children were playing and Bill took it all in his stride, a true testament to Bill’s ability to compliment the environment, the couple and engage with any audience. Bill skillfully balanced the varying moods of the day and ensured a natural flow of the ceremony.
To say we were pleased with Bill’s efforts would be an understatement. Bill is an exceptional celebrant, making us comfortable in the important moments, relaxed for the most part and delighted our audience with his wonderful sense of humour and strength of character. We will forever remember Bill’s joyful presence when we think of our wedding day and look forward to using Bill’s services again when we choose to celebrate other momentous occasions in our lives. From the first time we met Bill he made us feel relaxed and at ease. Bill’s professionalism accompanied with his kind, supportive nature made planning the ceremony a breeze. We had planned a big wedding ceremony but at the last minute changed our plans to have a private surprise ceremony in our backyard. Before our Ceremony
Bill visited us a couple of times at our home leading up to the big day to discuss his service and plan the ceremony. Bill was really informative, professional and easy to talk to. He really put us at ease during what can be a stressful period.
Day of Our Wedding
Bill did an awesome job as celebrant on the day. His style made everyone (including a nervous groom) feel at ease. Our ceremony was light, personal and full of love, and many of the guests noticed this and commended it. Bill did a great job in his delivery and ability to portray who we are on our day. His ‘sound engineer’ (aka Bill’s wife Gill), did a fantastic job ensuring the sound was very clear and volume perfect. We highly recommend Bill and thank him for a truly beautiful ceremony that will remain the highlight of our day for all the years to come.

We were wrapped with our decision to have Bill Stubbs as our wedding celebrant. My husband and I are fairly easy going people so the brief was to help create a relaxed and fun ceremony that was a reflection of us and Bill Stubbs did just that.
Bill is a very friendly and organised guy and was so easy to deal with in the lead up to the big day. Whilst we felt out of control trying to organise a million things, Bill had an ability to put us at ease that the ceremony would be taken care of. Bill was happy to be as involved as we wanted him to be in writing the ceremony and always made us feel that we were in control – aside from the legalities we could largely do as we pleased. He was able to provide us with suggestions and guidance in relation to those areas we wanted to manage (readings, music and vows) and was happy to run with the rest.
You can tell that Bill is naturally very charismatic and on the day, Bill was able to strike the perfect balance between giving the commitment we were entering into due attention but allowing for plenty of laughter. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves from the moment it began and our personalities really came through in the ceremony Bill put together. Also, when unplanned things took place like my husband going to kiss me well before he was meant to, Bill didn’t miss a beat and made them into very humorous memories.
We received lots of positive feedback about Bill Stubbs and would recommend him to other couples without hesitation.
