Bill Stubbs was our wedding celebrant at Sandringham Yacht Club on the 6th October 2019.
Right from the first time we engaged Bill to be our Celebrant, he has been most professional in every aspect of the wedding procedure.
From the very start Bill outlined our responsibilities and the procedure that is required in any wedding.
He tailored our wedding to just the way we wanted it.
If there were any questions by us, Bill came back with an immediate response.
On the day of the actual wedding, Bill with his usual sense of humour, made everyone including the future bride and groom feel at ease.
His preparation and ideas were faultless.
The actual speech he made before our vows, had the humour that made it so special and made everyone have a good laugh.
Some of our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to, and Bill certainly can be attributed to making this happen.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Bill as a wedding celebrant.

Planning a wedding can be stressful; there are so many choices that need to be made.  As if choosing the right partner isn’t hard enough, once engaged there are so many other decisions that follow in quick succession; the date, the venue, the flowers, the dress.  Somewhere along the way a celebrant must be selected, an important role that can make or break a ceremony.  James and I were so happy when Bill was available to marry the two of us in December, 2018.

At first impression it was clear that Bill has the charisma and appeal of an excellent public speaker, a great booming voice, a cheeky smile and quite the snappy dresser.  What we found most engaging was Bill’s kindness and consideration when it came to the details in the ceremony that would be important to us.  We had a number of children that we wanted to include in the day, which could have been difficult, but Bill suggested ways in which they could be introduced and celebrated in comfortable and gentle manner.

While James and I understood the significance of the important moments in the ceremony, we wanted our family and friends to enjoy a more relaxed afternoon in the garden.  The sun was shining, the children were playing and Bill took it all in his stride, a true testament to Bill’s ability to compliment the environment, the couple and engage with any audience.  Bill skillfully balanced the varying moods of the day and ensured a natural flow of the ceremony.

To say we were pleased with Bill’s efforts would be an understatement.  Bill is an exceptional celebrant, making us comfortable in the important moments, relaxed for the most part and delighted our audience with his wonderful sense of humour and strength of character.  We will forever remember Bill’s joyful presence when we think of our wedding day and look forward to using Bill’s services again when we choose to celebrate other momentous occasions in our lives.  Thank you Bill.
